Could anyone show pictures of a 1959 AJS M31 petrol tank please.
I'm not sure the one with my bike,is te correct one.

I haven't a picture but the '59 twin had 4 threaded fixing holes, no rear seat cut-away and it looked like the later duplex tanks,i.e. bigger, more rounded and with a centre seam. The seat too was special, it was short and stubby to butt up against the tank.

I throught my tank was wrong,it's got the cut - away and no centre seam, the seat is the stubby one.
