Help i have a 60 amp lucas dynamo which shows that it should run clockwise can it be used anti clock if so what mods if any are needed malc

Just run it in the other direction, all that will happen is that it changes polarity. I.e. + becomes - and vice versa. You can counter this by changing the field coil wires (the ones going to the brushes) around. Maybe the brushes need a little dressing with a fine file to prevent them from "catching" on the edges of the commutator segments.
