How do I remove the final drive sprocket from a CP gearbox, do I have to strip the box and if so are there any available instructions. Mike.

have you got a big vice? wrap a bit of chain around the sprocket and hold it by the two ends in the vice, knock back the locktabs, if there is one and loosen the nut. It may not be as tight as you`d expect if your lucks in, then remove end cover and it`s bits, kickstart rachet nut and gear, then with out shaking the box about slide out main shaft and finish removing nut and sprocket
tip don`t do it on kitchen table, there``ll be grease and/or oil every where, don`t shake it up and the shaft should go back in with out problem
that`s providing I`ve remembered correctly
