John Braun if your bike wet sumps excessivly I would check how much oil has found its way into the sump before attempting to start it. Excessive oil in the sump can cause massive rises in crankcase preasure as oil will not compress as the piston decends down the cylinder, this could cause serious damage to your engine, I would look at the pump A.S.A.P. or am I just being paranoid?
