A plan for a G15CSR?

Hi everyone.
I'm new to this forum and am hopefully doing the right thing by starting a new post.
I am now the very excited owner of a 1965 G15CSR Frame number 112###. I've build a few British twins in the past, mainly from rusty basket cases but last year I sold my precious Sunbeam S7 in favour of a servo assisted, ABSed, electric starting and mobilised BMW R1150GS Adventure. My mate and I planned to do a bit of touring and he already had a GS. But I miss the sound of spanners and the smell of oil so I went in search of a project bike that was special enough to challenge me and keep me interested. I found a recently imported G15CSR and bought it. Now I need a plan.
Hopefully I'll be able to attach some pics after I've typed this so that you can see what I am dealing with.
It is all original (as far as I can tell).
6V K2 Magneto
Dunlop rims
Original faded paint
Frame a little rusty
Chrome a little rustier!
Original Pipes
No Seat
No silencers
Given that my previous bikes have been basket cases and consequently needed a complete restoration (paint, chrome, powder coating and zinc) I now have a dilemma as to what to do with this G15. I guess I am asking for opinions, what would you do with it?
How far should my restoration work go?
I am planning on a complete overhaul of the mechanics and electrics but as far as the finish goes I really don't know what to do.
I will do
12V conversion
Superblend
Engine overhaul
Electronic VR
Progressive fork springs
Hagon rear shocks
Armours silencers
Rechrome?
Repaint the frame?
Rechrome the tank?
Repaint the tank and side panels?
I would overmuch welcome your advise and opinion.
Ok, now for the photos!
Regards
Lewis
