Brake levers
I,m in the usual position of trying to improve my ajay front brake, spriddlers pics and info are a great help, I looked at my levers and the fulcrum to cable distance is 1/1/8, I have an original lever which is 7/8, I have refitted that, what does this do in practice,

Re: Brake levers
Quite simply the shorter distance btn fulcrum and nipple makes it easier to pull, especially if one has small or weak hands.

Re: Brake levers
Think of a crow bar... long handle to the fulcrum, short distance to the thing being levered.
The longer the handle or the shorter the distance to the thing being levered... the easier it is
