AJS model 31 magneto reconditioning.

hi all,decided the magneto on my bike needs reconditioning. would appreciate some recommendations on where to send it please,cheers greasemonkey

Paul Lydford of APL magnetos has done excellent work on a mag for me recently.

He is. He has done the mags on my G12 and Model 18 plus the dynamo on the G12. Always excellent quality, service and price.

just an update to say i have had excellent service from Mr lydford of APL Magnetos ,can certainly recommend him..

You will certainly notice a difference. tony Cooper refurbished mine and it transformed the bike.

hi Malc,i have already,after fitting the reconditioned magneto the beast started 2nd kick,not 22nd or not at all. :)

I called APL yesterday about reconditioning the mag for my G12 and he is too busy to take any more on at the moment.

I then called Tony Cooper and arranged to take my mag and dynamo to him. I should get them back 3 weeks after delivery 👍
