Seat Removal

Post by AFPU »

Bit of an embarrassing question but having never had a Matchless before and now having a 1961 G12 CSR I am trying to figure out how to remove the seat at the rear. The front fixings are obvious enough but I can't readily see where the rear ones are. Could someone post a picture of where they are? :?:

There are 2 bolts under the mudguard near the support tube (in the muck!). Clean around them and undo with a socket and ratchet.

About to begin disassembly, so just wanted to check as to whether the bolts went into captive nuts in the seat base?
