On my 1961 G12 CSR I am looking at fitting a set of of more modern grips (Daytone b~Base). They measure 124mm in length whereas on the Amal Twist Grip that I have the shaft measures 115mm; so 9mm short.
I am therefore wondering if this would present any problems by perhaps snagging on the bar end?
The reason I ask is that the Twist Grip came with a Amal type grip already fitted and I don't really what to cut it off without knowing that the new grip will fit and be OK.

Re: Twist Grip - To change or not to change
No worries all sorted now as I built one suitable twist grip that is long enough to accommodate my new grips out of the original and new club one that I had.
