I have a billet crankshaft made that need the timing- and driveside shafts grinded to fit the rollerbearings.
For this I need the tolerances for the 1-3/8" shafts

Re: twin crank timing and drive shaft tolerances
I just measured the journals on a brand new spare Club crankshaft, if it is of help.
According to a half-decent 2" micrometer, and also to a good slide gauge with an accurate clock on it (which agrees to within a fraction of a thou), the finished journals are 1.376". Which suggests a 0.001" interference fit for the inner races.
My measuring sticks and expertise can't compare with what a decent engineering company can offer, but I'm pretty sure the above is correct.
In terms of fit, the main bearings went on my first crank just nicely. That first one, a prototype, was finish-machined at T&L Engineering in the UK; the second, I'm not sure whether it was one of the 'European batch' or the 'UK' batch as two suppliers were used on the main production run. But I'd be very surprised if there'd be any difference on what is a pretty basic dimension.

Is the Technical data in the back of the Neill workshop manuals of any use http://archives.jampot.dk/book/Workshop ... .NEILL.pdf see page 142.

Re: twin crank timing and drive shaft tolerances
Many thanks to you two.
I´ve got the info I need in order to proceed with the crank.
Best regards
McAn
