What year and model is this for? I'm guessing it's for a twin pre '57. That sprosket is not correct. It should be smooth bore with a cam shaped end to bear on a shock absorber cam which is splined to the crankshaft.

Thanks Dave. It’s a 1955 G9B. Sorry, I have the cam resting on the sprocket. It is a smooth bore sprocket. Both collars will fit in the crankcase against the main bearing. (Part # 014295) the spares book doesn’t say whether it’s smooth or has the spiral groove.

The collar which fits in the crankcase has a spiral.
