Yes, the swinging arm is a straight swap. You can change the brackets around on your chainguard to make it fit. Your brake plate should have one slot in the middle, could be altered to fit.

For 1955 18S it should be two piece to aid removal of QD wheel.

I now have the correct swing arm.
I still need to verify I have all the correct spacers for the rear axle. .
I’m going to put the rear wheel on hold as I just opened another can of worms …..the clutch/primary.
Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the swing arm without removing the inner primary cover?

Unfortunately you do have to remove the clutch and primary chaincase.
