Hi All
A quick couple of questions:
1. I am about to change the Qudrant spring and noticed that the original is symmetrical but the replacement is not (see picture), is there a right and wrong way to fit the new spring?
2. The ball bearing for the clutch pushrod had been placed in the thrust cup with a small insert, I will revert to original but wondered if any one had encountered this before and if it is an arrangement on any other makes that used Burman clutches?

Re: 1952 18S B52 Gearbox Question
Seen it loads of times, in theory it makes no difference which way round the spring goes. The ball bearing in the end cup likewise, seen it plenty of times, usually because the wrong length rod has been fitted and/or the plates are missing/wrong centre fitted and the adjuster winds in too far so a bearing is inserted to take up the difference.
