Will Girling units fit? If so I'd get some "new" ones off fleabay. Depends on how concerned you are with originality. Got mine £129.99.

Hi

That damage looks like 'pick up' from being ridden without oil in the unit - in view of the cost of replacement internals :o I'd check the units slide reasonably easily with no pronounced tight spots and rebuild filling with heavier grade oil - its not a road racer ;)

Ikons are the brand I used, but then I saw a cheaper version similar to a girling design I think these are stocked by A M C Classic spares. N J B Shocks, Colchester, do a range of girling type classic shocks
The company owner is a ex girling engineer.
