Hi am I correct that the rear tyre should be a 3.50x19 mine could do with replacing as the side wall shows a few cracks but the one on there is 4.10 H19
Cheers

Re: Rear tyre G3ls
Originally 350's used 3.25 rear tyres and 500's had 3.50 ones but most people run 3.50 on 350's these days,
4.10 is the low profile equivalent of a 3.50 (a 3.60 would be a 3.25)
For a metric equivalent tyre I use a 100/90 for a 3.50

Re: Rear tyre G3ls
3.25 front and 3.50 for the rear seems to be the norm. It's what I have just ordered for my m16 as it's what is fitted to the G3LS.

Re: Rear tyre G3ls
Low profile? Would that mean the circumference would be slightly less as the speedo does seem to read faster than the actual speed according to my phone speedo. Corse it could just be the speedo as it was a cheap eBay repo.
Thanks

Re: Rear tyre G3ls
To all intense purposes they are the same diameter, there will be minor differences in diameter but nothing substantial to make a major difference.
For example using the revolutions per mile in the back of the Bacon book a 3.25x19 is 794 and a 3.50x19 is 777 so just over a 2% difference, tyre pressure and wear will also make a difference, if you want accuracy go electronic.
