Are these caps incorrect for the sliders ?

They are incorrect... but they will work fine.
The caps are from 54/55 and the sliders are from 56 on.

LATER EDIT - I've amended the following sentence in view of ajscomboman's later post.

The club spares dep't holds some s/h parts but have a min spend of £135 for shipments to outside the E.U. at the present time.

Yes we are Nev, shipping worldwide inc EU but with the EU we have to have a minimum spend of £135 otherwise we have to deduct taxes for the relevant recipient country, effectively we become tax collectors and have to register with every EU country and it's just a pain for small amounts. I'm constantly looking for new rule changes to make it simpler but other than sending as a gift etc there's no way around it.
