Hello,
Could somebody let me know some basic adjustment information (e.g. turns for pilot jet screw, throttle slide screw) for the Amal Monobloc 376/5? This is just to make sure, that the carb. side is good enough to get the engine started. It is not a new carb., but it is ok regarding jet sizes, slide etc.
Thank you. Regards, Peter

There are no standard settings for those screws. A good starting point is 1 1/2 turns out for the pilot air screw. So screw in until it just bottoms , then out 1 1/2 turns. The throttle stop screw should be just starting to lift the slide. Make sure the pilot jet is clear. Take it out, you should be able to see through it. (Petrol will flow out but it may still be blocked at the top end).
