Mick,
That’s a good plan.
Thanks, regards,

Re: Wrong throttle cable?
Finding a correct cable that fits straight on is almost an impossible task. With so many changes to the machine s over the years especially to the fitting of levers not to the same spec as original, throttles which are not quite the same but look identical etc. I'm with Mick and make all mine to suit.

Re: Wrong throttle cable?
Hi ,
I had a chat with Mick who gave me good pointers as to how to perform task correctly. I have ordered a couple of nipples which should arrive Thursday. They are the screw on type which will allow a bit of ‘practice’. I can then either solder them on ( if this is possible) or replace with solder on ones later ( if necessary ).
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Wrong throttle cable?
New nipple arrived today so went for it! Did a bit of a calculation and cut the wire cable. As per, nothing quite straightforward as nipple slightly oversized. Bit of filing and fiddling and managed to get it safely into the twist grip. All good, so then added solder to cable into nipple for belt and braces job. Slack taken out as required. Time will tell!
