1961 G3L contact points set up

Is this correct? I can't get it too start up. Took it apart and forgot to notice which way around it all goes, :|

Hi

Difficult to be sure from that photo but the spring for the point should be isolated from the engine by the nylon 'washers'.

Yes the spring is isolated with the nylon washer attached is the points cable. Condenser is on the other end of the plastic top hat. No spark no

The top hat should have an associated nylon washer to isolate the spring, see here:

The condenser appears to be on the wrong side of the insulating washer, but that would not be the prime reason for the loss of spark. Are the points face free of grease/oil/etc, is there power at the points?
