Hi Pharisee,

That helps greatly. Managed to get trouble spacer onto spindle correctly ( needed a bit of a de burr ) . The remaining , smaller shouldered spacer, goes on outside of frame/ brake side looking at your picture. Does the reduced shoulder butt against the frame? Even though it is a reduced diameter it will not pass through the fork slot.

As Pharisee says, the reduced diameter is to accept the stop switch mounting plate:

Ah!
Thank you Mick. Bit thicker than usual today, but now got it! My brake light looks like an after market job and fits differently.

If you don't want to fit the rear switch in that position swap the ends around and face the recess outward. We no longer stock the plain earlier type spacer.
