North East Section Club Night on Thursday 7th July

The weather gods were kind to us on the evening of Thursday 7th July. It was a little breezy, but warm, dry and light. Quite a few regulars were away on holiday but five of us met up at the Robin Hood, four of us on bikes. Peter brought his immaculate 1960 AJS Model 31, Michael brought his equally immaculate 1955 AJS Model 20, I made the trip on my 1966 Matchless G12 and Myles came on his modern Triumph. George’s bike is almost done but he’s still having a few issues with carburation at the moment. It was a pleasure to be able to stay outside for a drink and a chat. The Northumberland and Borders Sections used to be popular many years ago, so if you haven’t been and would like to pop along next time, please do.

Our next meeting is from 7pm on the 4th August at the Robin Hood Inn as always.
