Hi All, Im just finishing off a restoration on the G5 and Im just thinking about putting some fuel in the tank and kicking it over. Can anyone advise on any initial settings I can make / check, especially on the carb just to get the bike ticking over.
Also I replaced the gasket on the cylinder head. The new replacement gasket wasnt copper, it seemed like a sort of stiff laminate and I put on a small amount of high temp gasket sealer. Ive just read this was probably not a good idea, should I strip the head back down or start it up and see if it causes any issues?
Cheers

Sorry I can't help with the carb Trebor as I'm a 500 single owner. I don't think the high temp gasket sealer will cause any problems for you.
