Hi guys I was wondering if it is possible to put the g5 crank shaft ect into a g2 crankcase?

IKBA about L/W's and no doubt first hand info will be forthcoming.
In the meantime you could look at the Spares List to see which relevant parts are common to both models. (A very quick look shows that the G2 c/case halves have different part numbers vs the G5, although the bearings seem to be common for both).

Probably, but you'll also need a G5 con rod, barrel, studs, pushrods, piston & head as well as the primary drive & clutch. Not a lot of G2 left at that point...
