I have a G9 and had the same problem with the centre stand. I made a 1960s Triumph 650 stand fit, as it has a big lever which is curved to go under an exhaust (surprisingly the bikes are almost the same weight). It's a fair amount of work and you need to be up for a challenge and access to welding gear. If somebody selling a ready made item I would have bought one.
