Where can I purchase good quality cables Ones that do not compress and feel like they are about to break

if money is no problem , then Venhill at redhill will make to a pattern with heavy duty outer , other options are JJ cables / MAC classic or the club. not really any difference in quality from what I can see on the last 2 options .

When I was experimenting with adaptations for my G3LS I had many bespoke cables made up by Venhill using the threaded end fittings that I supplied. They will of course make up cables using their own end fittings of equal quality.
The difference between theirs and less costly cables is pretty obvious.

I think the question should be where can I buy quality cables that will fit. Actually it's near impossible unless the bike you're working on has all the original fittings it left the factory with. Every cable I have bought regardless of source has required either fettling or scrapping. I only use universal ones and make them to fit what fittings are actually on the bike. Speedo cables not inc in this statement only control cables.

Yes should have asked for cables that fit and are of good quality
