Front part of rear mudguard for 1949 rigid model 18

hi all, Can anyone help with the positions of the holes in the front part of the plain rear mudguard for a 1949 model 18. I bought a rear mudguard from India but the short front section has no holes in it to secure it to the frame bridge. I do not have an original to work from as there was no rear guard in the boxes of bits, and the brackets on the main part of the Indian mudguard are in the wrong place for my bike so I can not work back from those.
