oil leak
hi I have oil mainly on the swing arm behind oil tank . pipes on tank not leaking any help where to look next Thanks. aslo no leaks at pipes on engine end head is leaking a liitle but not to the extent of the oil near tank

There is a breather from the back of the oil tank. Some models have a pipe with an outlet set to breath over the rear chain. If yours does not have this it will tend to condense around the swinging arm.

Thank you pipe was missing on to the next oil leak around drive sprocket on gearbox needs a good clean first

Be wary of overfilling the oil tank as that will lead to oil being expelled through the breather when the engine starts working hard.

Why do I remember this only when the rear tyre has a liberal covering?

think i may have done just that bike new to me with low oil so i topped up. It hasn't ran for along time so sump was full
