Does anyone know how to remove the valve lifter lever from the crankcase? It's a 1946 16M and the lever was completely seized, with some heat it now moves slightly but ideally I would like to remove it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you look at the illustration of it on page 11 in your Spares List you'll see that there's nothing holding it in the c/case except its external return spring. If it was completely seized I suspect it's been standing a long while and there may be corrosion on the internal part of the shaft, although it should have been oily when in place.
