Original grease nipples
Can anyone please tell me if the original type of grease nipples used in the 1940.s and early 1950.s are still available anywhere.

Re: Original grease nipples
Hi
I tried to find a few for a restoration about five years ago, I couldn't find any listed Your best bet is to try and find someone willing to pass on some second hand.
That said, modern replacements can be had new and 'hidden' inside wheel hub cover plates etc.
Regards Mick

Re: Original grease nipples
I know someone ( ahem!) who used to help himself to the grease nipples on the old London bus windows for his pushbikes, cos they were stainless. Try a scrap yard for old bikes or vehicles.
