Today I gave my G11CS a spin about 50 miles, with a new used right hand cylinder head, the inlet valve seat in the old one decided to rotate. Thanks to Steven Surbey
The place in the picture is near the site for the IJR in 1987,

The inlet valve on both my heads for my (first!) G11CS rotated. A fellow member fixed them both by heating them in the oven and then using a little nick in the seat to line them up with the plug hole. He then drilled and tapped a hole beside the seat and screwed in a screw with high grab loctite to stop it happening again, finally grinding the head off the screw. About 12,000 miles later and they are still holding.

Hi Rob
I was just out and enjoying the good weather. In 1987 it was a youth hostel, today it is residence for people with psychiatric and mental disabilities.

Carry on thinking it, it'll never happen. Ferries are far to limited for it to be even remotely considered.

I was under the impression that 25 spaces on a specific day, or just take our chances and make it known to club members that they’d be advised to get in quick rather than leave it until the last minute to book.let’s not rule this out yet.
