Did the Welsh Jampot Rally happen?

Post by SPRIDDLER »

Or have I missed any news?
Unusual not to get a few pics or hear about breakdowns.

Yes it did. Here's a link to the Jampot Facebook account where pictures and videos are being posted https://www.facebook.com/jampotwales

Only one breakdown which required recovery by van and trailer.

Thanks for posting Gary, but I abandoned Faecesbook after a month about 12 years ago.
I guess there'll be a report in October's mag.

That's a shame, but it's too late now to ask that shepherd who kept chasing you out of his field.

600+ mile round trip always helps with our section mileage awards , especially when the others trailer theirs to the rallies
no rain on the way home , and great country lanes

No pictures of sheep but here is one of a hydroelectric dam which was only half full, and a factory prepared ISDT twin. Other than that I forgot to hide behind the camera and experienced real life instead. As to breakdowns apart from a handlebar end mirror coming loose on my bike it was 600 miles without getting the tools out, unheard of for me as I usually do my pre rally checks and maintenance at the rally :headbang: .

Many thanks to Gary Jones and team for organising it. I am looking forward to receiving my badge ;)
