Thats weird Spriddler the Alternative i went to in 2008 was in Stockcross Berkshire. I did manage the Jampot in Cornwall that year too.

Good point. The West London section have a rule that the internet cannot be used to establish facts and so spoil a good argument at club night. We also have a whatsapp page for the victor to crow about how right they were after consulting the internet later.

Cars, Trailers, Motorhomes, and of course tents are all VERY welcome Barry.

We recognise that not everybody can ride to such an event, or camp in a tent, and would rather see you there than not, for what seems to me, an outdated rule about riding to the rally, and camping.

I myself will, unfortunately, be attending on a Hinkley Tri**ph, I'm 7 weeks post a knee replacement and unable to start an AMC bike. My wife is going in the car, and won't be riding pillion on the runs as she is still recovering from a badly broken ankle, so there's 2 of us that wouldn't be going if riding to the rally, on an AMC bike, was mandatory.

A fine rally-only wet friday afternoon! Enjoyed the fort at Newhaven built to keep Napoleon 3rd. away in 1851. Smashing pub and excellent company got home safely!

Many thanks form all at EL&E section for a great weekend but its all over far to quick, well done the Sussex team. So most of us got home ok bar one seven miles from home i had a strange magneto failure i will post a photo later for you all to give me your thoughts on what went wrong.
