1973 SEVENSIDE RALLY.
In 1975 the Rally was given a name. the badge just reading 1975 Jampot Rally..
Just a note. When I saw the badge I thought it would soon get snapped up being a quite rare bit of club history.
No one else made a bid.

Re: 1973 SEVENSIDE RALLY.
I’ve got one of those somewhere, we went there by car with our two boys and camped, the organisers ran a treasure hunt and on part of the route was a very steep down hill and a very steep up hill, at the bottom of the hill was a narrow bridge over a stream. My car was a 1300 cc series 3 Cortina, very under powered. I put my toe down on the downward run to gain enough speed to get up the other side without problems not realising that the bridge at the bottom was a humpbacked one, too late to brake we took to the air and were airborne for some distance. We didn’t win the treasure hunt but thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.
