This is hardly scientific, but I stood on the bathroom scales, then again holding a 1961 dynamo twin engine and worked out the difference. Metric came out as 27kg and I did it again in imperial, which was 60lbs. This was without heads, barrels, magneto, dynamo or any of the primary drive but with the timing cover on. No idea how good my scales are. Just need to get the hernia sorted now!
Is this to ship to the UK for repair? Might be cheaper/safer/easier for someone to fly out and do it at your place.
PS: My local pub recently had draught Bass, which I haven't seen for years and I immediately thought of you. can't think why ...
