G12 Prototype

Post by Mick D »

Hi

I see there is a 59 G12 prototype advertised on the forum homepage:

Any chance of publishing some of the 'loads of historic records available', because, to me, this looks like Frankenstein's monster.

They must have mastered time travel to get those tank badges and why would the factory use a Triumph silencer?
Interesting swing arm with cable rear brake and TLS front brake, I wonder why it didn’t progress into production.

So how much is actual factory prototype and how much random bits that were thrown in the crate prior to 1994? Mick D’s Frankenstein comment does seem rather apt.
