Selling an AJS to France

Good morning, folks. Has anyone got experience of selling a bike to the EU lately? Ive been contacted by a chap in France who is keen to buy an AJS 500 that Ive advertised on behalf of a late member's family. He will have to arrange collection by courier and be responsible for any import charges at his side - and tranfer the payment before it leaves of course.
Apart from notifying the DVLA of its permanent export via the V5, is there anything else I should be aware of or any unexpected charges that the family could be liable for?
I did sell a fairly expensive boat to a chap in Australia some time ago which was pretty straighforward apart from supplying sufficient documentation for the trailer to be registered as a vehicle over there. I just wondered whether brexit had introduced any further flies into the ointment.
