Jampot suspension units

Post by PGX11 »

Hello.
Can you recommend someone to service my Jampot units please?
(They're getting a bit stiff and creaky like me!)
I'm based in Monmouthshire but happy to send by post or travel 50 miles or so...
Many thanks,
Chris Moreton

No need to travel try the spares scheme for an exchange pair.

Welcome to the forum, Chris.
If you fancy having a go yourself there are several refurb articles in the archives.
Here are a couple of them...........
Parts are usually available from the Club Spares Dep't.

Amc classic spares does the inserts just swap em for sealed units. Or spend a fortune for Ikons.

Thank you for your advice.
Now having taken them off, they seem okay after all.

I learned from Thrifty Peter that one can find worn parts to be surprisingly serviceable after seeing the cost of replacements.

;)
